Description

For your post war Lionel ZW we have 8 total diodes. They are TVS (transient voltage suppression) diodes. Type: 1.5KE36CA 30.8 VOLT 1500 WATTS. They are easily added to the back of your ZW and just as easily removed.  They can also be installed internally for a more permanent and professional fit as we do on ZW upgrades. These diodes are bi-directional and in addition to the ZW transformer can also be used on other Lionel transformers Z, VW, V, TW, T, SW, S, RW, R, LW, KW, K, J, A etc.. By using the diodes you are providing an extra level of circuit protection when the voltage increases due to issues on your track layout such as train derailments.
